BIOGRAPHY: Andres Arias Coellar, a street artist, was born in Cuenca, Ecuador in 1984. His love for graffiti was inspired by the streets of New York City, where he was raised as a youth. Self-taught, with the clandestine splendor of a graffiti artist, Andres's art is visible in various public places and in private art galleries in Ecuador.

"As an artist, I want the images I design with my imagination and create by hand, to provoke introspection from the public. To take a deeper look into their ancestral roots. I consider my style modern with a graffiti and street art aesthetic. My works are made using recycled materials that I find on the street. It is important to close the cycle of transgressions made against our enviornment."
